Thumbnails

Here's a peek at two pages from SWEETS. I'm still in the early stages of doing thumbnails, which is where all the storytelling happens. These were done in a medium sized Moleskine sketchbook (with the blue label).

There's a lot of thought and experimentation in this stage. I'm constantly trying to capture the best moment in every panel and present it in a way that flows within the story and works to make a nice looking page design. It's always tricky but it's one of my favorite steps in the process. I've uploaded large versions, just click to get a bigger look.
